The geek social event of the century will involve a brief outdoor ceremony performed by a Unitarian minister, followed by dinner, dancing, and absolutely no kissing on demand. So stop clinking your glasses now.
Really. I mean it.
The minimalist and intimate wedding party will be comprised of Scott's best drinking buddy Za, Diane's brother Mike, Diane's favorite lunatic Kathy, and Scott's sister Beth.

Wedding colors will include forest green and purple.
Our main registry with good old standards like sheets and dishes and cookware and programmable-automatic-coffee-grinder-makers-with-timers (poing!poing!poing!) is at Linens 'N Things. We have also created a small 'fun stuff' registry at Target. In addition, we welcome any and all contributions to the honeymoon fund.
Registry items can be purchased in-store at either location, or on the web at:

Though we'd been planning on finally taking the trip to France that I missed in 11th grade thanks to a tiny little car-bombing in Paris, time / vacation-day-allotment / budget restrictions and planning-induced anxiety attacks have caused us to reconsider. It is now official that come September 7 we will be heading off for a relaxing week-long stay in beautiful and exotic Puerto Rico.
We look forward to spending a couple of days in San Juan, walking around the historic bits and touring the Bacardi factory, followed by a good day of hiking around El Yunque - the only rainforest in the National Park System - and finally some beach lounging and a dip in the Bioluminescent Bay in Vieques. We will also be seeking out coquis of both the amphibian and the coffee ilk.
