Archived Info

The Pre-wedding Web Site - All the good maps and Princess Bride quotes I had up here back before the wedding.

Wedding Planning

The Knot - Guest Lists, advice, and all kinds of things to get you into a tizzy.

Registries

Target - The one store everyone on earth is now legally required to register at. Except for one poorly shipped item, we had good luck with them.

Linens N' Things - The other store we registered at.

Day-Of Vendors

Webster Golf Club - We could not have asked for a better place to hold our ceremony and reception. Everything was handled cheerfully and speedily. The food was wonderful. And the setup was perfect for dancing, conversing, standing around at the bar - whatever.

Ontario Ensemble - The group of musicians that accompanied our ceremony was fantastic. They were easy to work with to set things up ahead of time. They arrived promptly and didn't mind that everyone was cowering in the AC'd foyer instead of standing outside sweating and listening to them. And their music was lovely.

Pied Piper DJ Service - DJ Casey did everything exactly the way we wanted it. And he had a mullet. Woo-hoo!

Roger Smith Photography - Roger was incredibly slow with everything he did. But his pictures were lovely.

All About You Day Spa - Faaabulous pre-wedding pampering for all the girls.

Stuff

The Titanium Workshop - Scott's titanium wedding band is beautiful, and this workshop had an excellent price.

Prudential Jewelers - Where I got my band, right in the heart of Chicago's Jeweler's Row.

Regal Ribbons - Very affordable bulk printed ribbons for favors.

The Wedding Coach - Nifty items for favors.

Paper Source - Mmmmmmm. Paaaaaper.

Honeymoon

Island Adventures Biobay Eco-tours - Sharon Grasso's amazing tour of Mosquito Bay, Vieques.

At Wind Chimes Inn - Very nice, if less than ideal "boutique" hotel in Candado, just east of Old San Juan. Delightful location just a block from the beach and from public transportation.

Casa Cabuy Eco-lodge - The absolute perfect place for us to end our trip. Relaxing, remote, and unspeakably gorgeous. Now this is truly the way to see the rainforest.
